Promenade

PROMENADE by Tom Morello's new band; Street Sweeper Social Club. Standard Tuning: E-A-D-G This is my favorite song off the new album. There was no bass tab for this song at the time so here's my interpretation... There's really only 2 parts to this song, the Intro/Verse and the Chorus. Main Bass Line (Intro & Verses) All open E's are stacatto. G|------|------------------------------| D|------|----------------------------0-| A|------|------------------------0h2---| x8 E|-12\--|-0--0--0--0--0--0--0--0-------| ** ** [Play it once] It can also be played a string down. Some may find it more comfortable to play it this way: G|------------------------------| D|------------------------------| A|----------------------------5-| E|-0--0--0--0--0--0--0--0-5h7---| Chorus: G|---------------------------------| D|-2-2-2-2-2-2-2-2-------------0-0-| ----------\ A|-----------------3-3-3-3-2-2-----| \ E|---------------------------------| \ All this x2 G|-0-0-0-0-0-0-0-0-----------------| / D|-----------------0-0-0-0-0-0-0-0-| / A|---------------------------------| ----------/ E|---------------------------------| Then Verse 2 only 6 times instead of 8. After that Play Chorus then Guitar Solo. Guitar Solo: Essentially the same as the Chorus but slightly different. G|---------------------------------| D|-2-2-2-2-2-2-2-2-----------------| A|-----------------3-3-3-3-3-3-3-3-| E|---------------------------------| G|-0-0-0-0-0-0-0-0-----------------| D|-----------------0-0-0-0-0-0-0-0-| A|---------------------------------| E|---------------------------------| G|---------------------------------| D|-2-2-2-2-2-2-2-2-----------------| A|-----------------3-3-3-3-3-3-3-3-| E|---------------------------------| G|-0-0-0-0-2-0-0-0-----------------| D|-----------------0-0-0-0-0-0-0-0-| A|---------------------------------| E|---------------------------------| Then Play the Verse again 3 times and on the fourth play: G|---------------| D|---------------| A|---------------| E|-12\\\\\\\\\\\-| Then play the Chorus for the final time, and end on an E. Please rate and/or comment. Any questions, don't hesitate to ask me on my profile. Anyways, I hope you learned something and I encourage you to make your own tab if you feel that this one doesn't live up to your standards. Enjoy! ~AfromonkeyR0X
